The Dryden Fire Service is reminding local residents to abide by the
Cities by-law dealing with outdoor burning during extreme temperatures.
Fire crews encountered a few problems on the weekend with a handful
of minor brush and grass fires.
Officials stress conditions are extremely dry right now and all outdoor
air burning is banned.
Violations can lead to a fine of up to $5,000.
Campfires and incinerators are allowed however extreme caution is
urged.
