Outgoing Mayor Confident About Future

It’s nearing an end to municipal life for Lee Kennard.

A new Council will be sworn-in next month in Ignace and Kennard will be leaving the office after serving two terms.

He will be passing the torch onto Donald Cunningham.

Kennard says he’s really confident that his replacement will move forward on the positive things that they have been working on.

Kennard says they have set a strong vision and plan of economic and community growth.

It will be a completely revamped Council, with newcomers Donald Cunningham, Penny Lucas, David Penney, Debbie Hart, Greg Waldock all taking office for the first time.
