As of 12:30 this afternoon, Hydro One says the Red Lake area will have power back around 9:00 PM tonight.
Over 2,100 homes and businesses in the Red Lake area have been without power since Friday.
Crews worked through the night trying to assess the damage, hampered at times by downpours and strong winds.
Most of our area remains under a Special Weather Statement with more storms expected in Manitoba that will sweep into the Northwest as the day goes on.
