Some of our areas finest have been recognized by the Oxdrift Fire department.
Brian Jacobsen has been named Officer of the Year, Darren Froome Firefighter of the Year and Tim Fisher Rookie of the year.
Shaun Dimit was presented a certificate of bravery for rescuing his father-in-law from a house fire last month.
The Oxdrift Fire team also recognized a number of individuals for years of service.
