The province says Pandemic Pay will be flowing soon.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says she has signed over 500 letters to hospitals and agencies across Ontario advising them of how much pay they can expect.
Elliott is asking employers that get the pay to put it on pay cheques as soon as they get the money.
She notes they included as many people as they could.
“We wish we could have supplied it to everyone. But unfortunately that was not part of the agreement that we had with the federal government. There are over 375,000 people that will be receiving it.”
