Paper Valentine Campaign Hits Dryden

MPP Sarah Campbell will receive hundreds of paper valentine hearts this afternoon.
The union representing child and family services workers across the Kenora-Rainy River district will drop them off at Campbell’s Dryden office at 12:30 in hopes of having her deliver them to the Premier.
CUPE 2332 President Don Pearson says the vast size of their service area makes it difficult for staff to do their job.
Pearson says they can’t do their job properly under the current provincial funding formula.
He notes the provincial government is starving child welfare agencies.
The union represents 293 front line staff across the district.
