The fate of a contract for area paramedics is now in the hands of an Arbitration Board.
They have been without a deal since the Kenora District Services Board took over the service 3 years ago.
The Arbitration team has been reviewing the case since October and has given no indication on when a ruling will be made.
Wages top the wish list for paramedics, who are not allowed to strike because its considered an essential service.
The KDSB has warned that any significant increase in wages would have to be covered by municipalities.
