Sioux Lookout’s Ryan Parent is off to a flying start at the Canadian
Hockey League-NHL Top Prospects competition in Vancouver.
The top 40-prospects, minus Sidney Crosby, participated in the skills
competition portion of the event Wednesday afternoon.
The Guelph Storm defenceman finished first in the 60′ dash and second in the fastest skater event.
Parent is listed as the 7th top North American prospect for the 2005
NHL Draft.
The Prospects Game goes Wednesday night at 9 o’clock where Parent will patrol the blueline for Don Cherry’s team.
