Thief River Falls forward Parker Simonson has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
The 20-year-old scored three goals and added an assist in two wins against the Minnesota Iron Rangers on the weekend.
One of his goals was a game tying marker.
Simonson has scored in each of the Norskies’ four games this season and currently leads the league in goals with six.
He sits tied for second in points.
Dryden GM Ice Dogs goalie Logan Sawka and Ethan Wong of the English River Miners also received consideration.
