The MP for Kenora expects a short but sweet sitting of Parliament to end 2015.
The Christmas sitting, which opens Friday, will only be in session until the end of next week.
However, Bob Nault says two big election promises will come to fruition.
A tax break for the middle class is on the agenda and Nault adds the Liberals will also increase taxes on the wealthiest 1% of Canadians.
He hopes to have the tax changes in effect for January 1st.
The government will also confirm a new Speaker of the House.
