The PARO Centre For Women’s Enterprise is now inviting the public to nominate a deserving individuals for their 25th Anniversary Event and Award Gala.
The awards honour women in business and in leadership roles, in Northwestern Ontario, who have made positive contributions in their community.
Categories this year include New Business of the Year, Established Business of the Year, Rising Star, Changemaker Entrepreneur of the Year, PARO Circle of the Year, PARO Partner of the Year and PARO Alumni of the Year.
Nominees must be a woman who is the primary owner and operator of a business located in Northwestern Ontario.
Being the “primary owner and operator” is defined as having a minimum of 51% ownership or being the majority stakeholder and being active in the business.
The deadline to make a nomination is September 6th.
