Partnership Formed Between Wabigoon and Domtar

Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation and Domtar signed a memorandum of agreement Tuesday at a traditional ceremony on the reserve.
The deal secures a commitment for both sides to work together to develop future opportunities for Wabigoon Lake.
The Wabigoon Tree Nursery will supply roughly 3.3-million seedlings to Domtar this year as part of a reforestation program.
The Chief of Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation believes the agreement will help the community move forward.
Ruben Cantin Senior says the deal is consistent with what the Government is offering to industry and First Nations who agree to partner together.
Domtar Spokesperson Digger Pond says its an important milestone.
