Development of the Trans Canada Trail could include a water route through a portion of Northwestern Ontario.
Project Manager Vick Kurz says the “Path of the Paddle” initaitive looks at several provincial parks in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.
Quetico and Turtle River Parks are included in the proposed route.
The route spans roughly 900-kilometres.
Kurz says she’ll be taking the proposal to area communities next month to solicit input and support.
