There could be a northwestern Ontario voice speaking for the union representing Ontario’s high school teachers.
Paul Elliott, a Fort Frances teacher, will seek the presidency of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation in March.
Elliott, who’s currently a vice-president, says it’s a great opportunity.
He wants to bring a northern voice to the table.
Elliott has been on a leave of absence since joining the the OSSTF’s executive eight years ago.
