A major star in children’s entertainment has died.
Paul Reubens passed away Sunday night after a private battle with cancer.
He was best known as ‘Pee-wee Herman’ from the show ‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse,’ which aired on CBS from 1986 to 1991.
That followed the success of the movie ‘Pee-wee’s Big Adventure’ in 1985.
Reubens was also a stand-up comedian and played roles in other films.
He was 70 years old.
