Pay it Forward Not Moving Forward Right Now

Dryden Council is not moving forward right now with the Centennial Committee’s ‘Pay it Forward’ campaign.
The Committee had hoped to spend the $28,000 it made this year on numerous initiatives next year including gateway signage, Children’s Street Fair, Rockin the River, Arena Dance and Oktoberfest.
However, City Manager Arie Hoogenboom recommended Monday night that Council take more time to talk about the proposal.
Council agreed that the issue needed further discussion and put it aside until the January 17th Committee of the Whole Meeting.
They noted that more talk is needed on gateway signage and wanted more Moosefest involvement.
