Pay to drive

It is getting expensive to drive through a Kenora area reserve.
Wabaseemoong 1st Nation has imposed a toll on the road in order to get the government to talk about a long list of concerns.
Right now the charge is $50 & if you happen to be an American, that will be in US bucks please!
Chief Ron McDonald says they may double the toll shortly.
Police are monitoring the situation & Indian Affairs says there is nothing illegal going on as long as the toll applies to a roadway owned by the band.
