A small but meaningful protest Friday in front of the Child and Family Services Office near the Dryden Mill.
Lore was involved with the group that was peacefully rallying behind what she says is the misuse of Child and Family Services and their ability and inability to keep families together with the resources they have.
She also believes organizations are also misusing the resources that they do have.
Lore notes it’s not just a regional problem, but one that is prevalent across Canada and the United States.
Others stated child services are instead being downloaded to police forces, who don’t have the necessary resources to deal with individual cases.
She is hoping that someone will now pay attention.
