Peewee All-Stars Headed to Provincial Final

The Northwestern Ontario All-Stars defeated the Thunder Bay Kings 5-4 in overtime Sunday to claim the Hockey Northwestern Ontario Peewee ‘AAA’ Branch Championship.
Dryden’s Geoff Kitt picked up 2 goals, including the overtime winner.
Trevor Kavanaugh, Tyler Vanuden, Logan Ginn added singles.
The All-Stars are comprised of 8 Dryden Peewee ‘AA’ Paperkings players, 5 players from the Kenora Thistles and 5 players from the Fort Frances Royals.
The Local team now represents this Region at the All-Ontario Peewee Championship in St. Mary’s on April 5th.
The All-Star Bantam team was not as fortunate falling in the Championship Game to Thunder Bay 3-1.
Nolan Ross scored the All-Star’s lone goal, with Colton Spicer adding the assist.
