Pelican Falls Canoe Donated to LU

It took an entire semester for 16-students at Pelican Falls School to
build a hand-made birch bark canoe and now their handy-work will be
showcased at Lakehead University.
Instructor Darren Lentz says its a great opportunity for his kids.
Lentz says the curriculum at Pelican Falls helps students learn more
about their culture and language.
A special presentation is slated for Wednesday April 19th at Lakehead.
Lentz says the 16-students also published a book on their cultural
learning.
