It was two days of fun and great hockey action at the Pelican Lake Pond Hockey tournament in Sioux Lookout. 29 teams took part in the 2 day affair.
Winners on Saturday included the Lone Rangers who downed Da’ Newfs in the Open division. The Storm scored an overtime victory over the defending champs the Pink Ladies in the Women’s division. In Youth Division 1 Timberwolves White beat the Top Drawer of the Cash Register in the High School division. On Sunday the Men’s Division was won by the Mighty Pucks who beat the two time defending champion Bulldogs. The B-side was captured by Bender Sauce who defeated the Ice Holes. The Youth Division 2 crown was won by Timberwolves Blue team over the Swamp Donkeys.
