Perfect Day To Head To Kenora For Air Show

Near perfect weather conditions for today’s air show at the Kenora Airport.
The UP, Up and Away Festival gets underway this afternoon.
John Gale is one of the organizers and says this is one of the biggest airshows in Canada this year.
Gale says they are a couple of acts shy of the Toronto International Airshow.
Gale notes they did receive a grant from the Ontario Government to help off-set some costs.
Yesterday, the Snowbirds did a fly-by to announce their arrival in town.
The Air Show doesn’t begin until after 4:00, but ticket holders are advised to arrive early to take in the static displays and beat the traffic.
