A perfect ending to the shooting season for Dryden’s Roly Miles.
Miles has made history by being the first competitor to ever shoot a perfect 1,500 Duty Pistol score.
He came close to beating the world record (1,498) on two occasions this season, and finally secured the milestone on October 1st.
The record breaking performance capped a great season for the local athlete.
Miles won the Manitoba and Ontario provincial championships, every event in the Canadian National championships as well as two first place finishes at European Open championships in the Czech Republic.
Miles says a perfect match proves anything is possible if you believe in yourself, your abilities and rely on your training.
