King Street merchants can breathe a little easier, as the first phase of the Dryden Downtown Revitalization Project is nearing completion.
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says work is expected to be completed next week.
He notes some minor touch ups will continue but traffic won’t be affected.
Johns says the second phase of the project is on the drawing board and a Consultant will be recommended to Council next week.
He says that will entail the Highway 17 Gateway and Riverside Walkway from King Street to Earl Avenue.
