Red Lake incumbent Mayor Phil Vinet says they are living in a time when it’s important for the community to move forward.
Vinet is seeking a third term as Mayor.
Vinet says a number of projects are on the go and he wants to keep the ball rolling.
He notes they have to address their housing shortage and notes they have to get some entry level housing.
Vinet says they have two possible sub-divisions coming on-line.
He adds Red Lake is moving along with a walking and bike trail between Balmertown and Cochenour and Balmertown and Red Lake.
Vinet notes he has a strong working relationship with both levels of government.
Other priorities include the completion of the new Medical Centre, as well as infrastructure upgrades.
