Pickle Lake says enough!

The Township of Pickle Lake has given up.
Mayor Roy Hoffman & his Council have decided they will no longer run huge deficits & say the Province can take over.
A special assistance grant & loan totalling over $1/2 million was arranged in 2005 which Hoffman says still hasn’t been finalized.

He says when the final paper work comes through, Council will refuse to sign.
There are a number of things which could happen, 1 of which is the Government appoints a trustee to manage the financial affairs of Pickle Lake until a permanent soloution is found.
