Pikangikum Area Fire Continues to Burn

Sun and windy conditions continue to fan out a large forest fire burning northeast of Pikangikum First Nation.
The fire has grown to 4,400 hectares in size and is considered not under control.
A number of hotspots continue to smoke and fire crews are on scene.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is currently monitoring 8-fires in the Northwest District.
