Pikangikum Drowning

A tragic long weekend on the remote First Nation community of
Pikangikum.
Members of the OPP Northwest Region Crime Unit were called to the
Reserve on Friday after a report of a drowning.
Police say a 3-year-old boy drowned on Berens Lake.
Police are withholding the victim’s name.
An investigation determined that the death was accidental and no
charges will be laid.
