There are lots of interactive tools are aboard the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Tour bus.
It was in Dryden at CIBC this afternoon, and will be at the Sioux Lookout Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre from 3-6pm. Tomorrow it will return to Dryden, and be parked at the Fall Fair.
Program Manager Jessica Cook invites everyone to come check it out.
There are videos about breast cancer prevention, “Fact or Myth” games, and you can also make a video about how you’re going to prevent breast cancer and lead a healthier life.
Cook says women of all ages can take preventative measures such as eating a balanced diet, exerceising, avoid smoking and cut down on alcohol.
In addition, officials will be on board the bus booking free mammograms for women over 50-years-old.
