Pioneering Opportunities Theme Of KDMA

Municipal leaders from across the region are in Pickle Lake for the start of the 73rd Kenora District Municipal Association Annual Conference.
“Pioneering Opportunities” is the theme for the three day gathering.
KDMA President and Pickle Lake Mayor Roy Hoffman says a number of speakers will be in attendance.
Some of the feature presenters include Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell, the Director General of FedNor Aime Dimatteo and Kevin Desrosiers of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Hoffman says the conference will feature three discussion panels in Mining, Tourism and Forestry.
Hoffman notes by concentrating on the three main themes, they hope to accomplish a lot at the conference.
An update on the Ring of Fire will also be provided.
