Pit Bull Ban Case Won’t be Heard

A Toronto lawyer trying to get Ontario’s pit bull ban overturned was unsuccessful in his attempt to get Canada’s highest court to hear the case.
Clayton Ruby argues there is no scientific basis to conclude pit bulls are more dangerous than other dogs.
Ontario’s Appeal Court upheld the ban last October and Ruby asked the Supreme Court of Canada to review that decision, but Thursday it dismissed that application.
