It’s a big series on and off the ice for the Dryden Ice Dogs.
The Dogs entertain the Minnesota Iron Rangers for a three game set starting tonight.
This is the cancer awareness series and General Manager Brad Boyko says a booth will be set up at the Memorial Arena tonight promoting colon cancer screening.
The Dogs will wear their special cancer awareness jerseys at the Saturday game.
There will be several other fundraisers during the games and all proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
CKDR will also be auctioning off an Ice Dog cancer jersey on the CKDR Morning Show on Friday.
The jersey is donated on a yearly basis by Ella Lynns.
On the ice, it doesn’t get much bigger!
The Ice Dogs are only 3-points up on the 5th place Iron Rangers.
Game time Thursday, Friday and Saturday is 7:30 at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
