Plan for the Forestry Sector Expected Soon

The Conservative Government is working on a strategy to help the forest industry.
There has been growing backlash in Canada over a U.S. $6-billion subsidy to the pulp and paper industry in the States for burning black liquor.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says his Government is looking at some sort of plan.
Rickford is not providing any hints on what the Harper Government is proposing but states the package should reward Mill’s who use renewable energy sources.
Rickford made the comments in Dryden last Friday.
