Plane Crash

Four people, including 3 Americans, are feared dead after a small float plane crashed north of Sioux Lookout last night.

The Dehavilland Beaver, owned by Pickerel Arms Camps of Sioux Lookout, crashed into Fawcett Lake.

Peter Hildebrand, of the Transportation Safety Board in Winnipeg, says no bodies have been recovered.

He says it was supposed to be a 1 hour, 110-km flight.

The Americans were being flown to a lodge on Fawcett Lake at the time of the crash.

They have not been identified.

Hildebrand says OPP divers and investigators from the TSB are on their way to the scene.
