Planned Summer Capital Work

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will be going ahead with
just 2-small capital projects this Summer.
Trustees have agreed to spend $460,000 to conduct roof
repairs to Lillian Berg School in Vermilion Bay and Red Lake District High
School.
Superintendent of Finance Dean Carrie notes they have $4.2-million to spend on other projects that are still on hold.
The Board has also agreed to sell or lease the Dryden Warehouse that
is located behind the Tourist Centre.
Trustees say if there is no interest by July, it will likely be
mothballed.
