Efforts to build a new Catholic High School in Dryden are picking up momentum.
Trustees with the Northwest Catholic District School Board have voted unanimously to launch an action plan.
Director of Education Rick Boisvert says senior staff will begin work immediately to determine the next steps in opening the school.
The move follows favourable feedback from parents, staff and students in a comprehensive consultation process.
Boisvert notes the potential high school is the result of about 12-20 months of work about the feasibility of the school and stresses the Board is comfortable moving forward.
