Plenty of graduation ceremonies

It’s that time of year for graduation ceremonies.

Christy Radbourne is the Director of Education for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and says graduating ceremonies aren’t just for high school students.

“Kindergarten graduates, which as just as important as grade 8 and grade 12 graduates, for them, and we get to chance to celebrate with our communities,” Radbourne said from Pickle Lake, where she attended graduation ceremonies Wednesday night.

“We’re off to Sioux Lookout tomorrow and I’ve been to Lilian Berg (in Vermillion Bay). ”

Red Lake has grad ceremonies this afternoon, while Beaver Brae in Kenora is holding its ceremonies tonight.

Dryden and Sioux North have their graduation ceremonies tomorrow.
