Poaching Charges in Red Lake

A Red Lake area poacher has been fined $1,000 after attempting to use a camouflaged canoe to try and trap baitfish in another Operator’s harvesting site.
The Ministry of Natural Resources caught 52-year-old Rick Heithoff on
a small Lake off Snake Falls Road back in June and he was not licensed to
operate there.
On top of the fine, Heithoff has been banned from harvesting bait fish for 1 year.
