Police Academy

7 Northwestern Ontario residents pursuing a career in policing are
taking part in an OPP Police Academy in Orillia this week.
Sergeant Kristine Cholette says the ‘Bound Program’ is a great way
for interested applicants to get hands on experience.
Cholette says the program is often the doorway to a
career in policing.
5 of the recruits are from Thunder Bay, while the other two are from
Sioux Lookout and Sioux Narrows.
95-people are enrolled in the course.
