The Ontario Police Association is releasing the results of a survey they conducted about the call for privatization of police services.
The OPA asked 1,310 people whether they support the Municipalities of Ontario Association’s push for privatization of police service.
Thunder Bay Association President Greg Stephenson says they are trying to get the best bang for the public’s buck.
Stephenson says over 70 percent of respondents were strongly opposed to outsourcing some of their tasks to private security guards.
