Police Chief Issues Statement On Ottawa Shootings

The Chief of the Dryden Police Service the events of Wednesday’s horrific shootings in Ottawa reaffirms the need to be even more vigilant.
Rob Davis says we would be naive to think today that a terrorist attack can’t happen on Canadian soil.
Davis says it’s time for healthy debate on security on the political level but notes law enforcement still must see all of the evidence to see what the motivators were for the attack.
He stresses Canadians value safety in this country and he urges all residents to report any suspicious activity.
Davis also provided a statement below on behalf of the Dryden Police Service.
