Police Confirm Bomb Threat At Red Lake High School

Provincial Police are investigating following a bomb threat at Red Lake District High School.

Officers responded to a report of an explosive device around 8:47 Wednesday morning.

Students and staff were evacuated as a precautionary measure and classes have been cancelled for the day.

Police have set up a perimeter surrounding the school and are currently on scene searching the building.

A criminal investigation has been initiated.

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board stresses everyone is safe.
