Police Making Headway on Mosaic Investigation

Forensic officers with Dryden Police have collected several items that could possibly lead to the identification of the suspects involved in vandalizing the Centennial Mosaic.
Someone spray-painted the sculpture at Johnston Park sometime after the grand opening ceremony Sunday afternoon.
Inspector Kevin Glenister says they are still seeking the public’s help to solve the crime.
Glenister says the spray-paint used was black automotive paint, which will be hard to wash out of clothing.
Glenister is concerned that the public may be jumping to conclusions that those involved belong to a certain group or age group.
He notes the suspects could be any age.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dryden Police or Crime Stoppers.
The Mosaic is now clean and back to normal.
