A 21 year old has been arrested after a police officer in Kenora was assaulted.
Officers were called to a theft in the downtown core on Sunday afternoon and when they located the accused the individual became combative while being taken into custody.
Provincial Police say Rhys Sinclair of Kenora has been charged with assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and failing to comply with a release order.
