Police Officers Assaulted

Sioux Lookout OPP have arrested two Sandy Lake men in connection with two separate attacks on police officers Wednesday night.
Police say officers were unloading an intoxicated man from a police vehicle when he unzipped his pants and tried to urinate on the cruiser.
The man repeatedly shoved an officer who tried to intervene.
26-year-old Rex Kakegamick has been charged with assaulting police and will appear in court next month.
Later the same night, officers were attempting to move a man from one cell to another to make room for more prisoners.
Police say the man lunged at officers, kicking one of them in the leg and smeared a bodily excretion on their uniforms.
24-year-old John Lee Anishinabie has been charged with assaulting police and will appear in court in February.
