A drug investigation conducted by Provincial Police and Treaty Three Police has resulted in charges against three Kenora residents.
Officers made the arrests Thursday following a Methamphetamine trafficking probe in and around the Kenora area.
Police seized Crystal Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine, Marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia.
OPP say the street value of the drugs is roughly $31,000.
Charges include:
Joey NICOLAS age 34, of Kenora has been charged with;
• Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA)
• Trafficking in Methamphetamine s. 5(1) CDSA
• Possession of Shatter (resin) for the Purpose of Trafficking s. 5(2) CDSA
• Possession of Cocaine s. 4(1) CDSA.
• Possession of Cannabis Marihuana – s. 4(1) CDSA.
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime s. 354(1)(a) Criminal Code (CC).
• Fail to Comply with Recognizance s. 145(3) CC (three counts)
Crystal MCDONALD age 28 of Kenora has been charged with;
• Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA)
• Trafficking in Methamphetamine s. 5(1) CDSA
• Possession of Shatter (resin) for the Purpose of Trafficking s. 5(2) CDSA
• Possession of Cocaine s. 4(1) CDSA.
• Possession of Cannabis Marihuana – s. 4(1) CDSA.
Kayla JOLICOUER age 27 of Kenora has been charged with;
• Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA)
