One more problem needs to be rectified before the new Dryden Police
Services building can open its doors.
Crews still need to raise the level of the sidewalks by 6-inchs to
avoid a build-up of water.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says it’s the final piece of the puzzle but was not included in the original contract.
The $12,000 upgrade will be covered by money saved on
other parts of the project.
The building, which may be ready to open in a week, will be fully
accessible and meets Ontario Disability standards.
