Two members of the Kenora Police have been suspended from active duty.
Both sergeants Lloyd White and Tom Favreau were suspended with pay yesterday after the K.P.S. learned that formal charges will be laid against both officers within the next week or so.
A recent O.P.P. review of an investigation into the death of a North Spirit Lake man in downtown Kenora, determined there had been misconduct by the officers.
Another police department was given the task of determining whether charges should be laid under the Police Services Act.
