Thunder Bay Police believe the 45-year-old woman who drove her car through the wall of the Fort William Gardens may have done it on purpose.
Spokesperson Chris Adams says their investigation has found the driver didn’t make any attempt to stop and actually veered abruptly into the arena and curling rink.
Adams says charges are pending.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
Adams says the situation could have been a lot worse if someone was inside the building at the time.
