Policing Consultations Across NAN Territory

The Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service is establishing Community Consultation Committees in each of the 35-Northern communities it serves.
The purpose of the consultations is to identify community-based concerns, solutions and provide a mechanism for feedback.
Officials say the Committees will consist of numerous stakeholders including an elder and youth.
Officers will be on hand to record discussions and report back to the Police Service.
